Issues with <person> tag

Postby Alekz » March 15th, 2015, 4:21 pm

I noticed that the <person> tag does not work as expected. <person> changes from first to "it" and back (and with errors). While <person2> looks OK:

Code: Select all
<category>
<pattern>test person *</pattern>
<template><br/>
Input:<star/><br/>
Person:<person/><br/>
Person2:<person2/>
</template>
</category>

Result:

Code: Select all
User: test person your picture
Bot:
Input: your picture
Person: your picture
Person2: my picture

User: test person my picture
Bot:
Input: my picture
Person: its picture
Person2: your picture

User: test person his picture
Bot:
Input: his picture
Person: his picture
Person2: his picture

User: test person her picture
Bot:
Input: her picture
Person: her picture
Person2: her picture

User: test person you sleep
Bot:
Input: you sleep
Person: you sleep
Person2: I sleep

User: test person he sleeps
Bot:
Input: he sleeps
Person: he sleeps
Person2: he sleeps

User: test person I sleep
Bot:
Input: I sleep
Person: it sleep
Person2: you sleep

User: test person it sleeps
Bot:
Input: it sleeps
Person: it sleeps
Person2: it sleeps

User: test person I
Bot:
Input: I
Person: it
Person2: you

Hmmm. Interesting. I'll have a look at it. I suspect that this is another of those "mystery code" things that have been popping up recently. :(

Thanks, Alekz. I really appreciate the compliment. :)

BTW, I'm still working on that <topic> bug. The more code I refactor to correct it, the more I find that also needs refactoring. While I love the challenge, I can stay "hip deep in baby dragons" for only so long. :o
